The mine ore that is used at Cooper’s Gem Mine comes from all across the Appalachian mountain range. Some states that are included are NC, SC, TN, VA, WVA, FL, GA. and sometimes-even New York.

Cooper’s Gem Mine is a fun and educational tourist attraction located in historical Blountville, TN. Miners come to our facility to sluice authentic mine ore in our 300 foot onsite flume. When you find it, you keep it!
